there's something about pretty perfume bottles, chandeliers, and the like!

these images are from the film "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day". after watching this movie, i loved the set decor and thought "how could i do something like that with a modern twist in my own bathroom?" 

these are the colors and types of prints i would like to use. i did these prints myself so i would find something similiar or somehow use what i have created. i have a whole set of prints in this theme that i have been working on. that is a whole other project that i will keep to myself until the right time! perhaps i'll do a small project on the side in this area for the shop. something glamerous and vintage with a bright colored twist!  
these photos of vintage style fixtures are from restoration hardware. the perfume bottles; i do have the two smaller ones but this picture is from pottery barn. these are difficult to photograph and i don't have the perfect home for them yet. 

hopefully over the next few months if there is no moving or other events happening then i'll implement some of these ideas (except for never-in-my-budget dream fixtures from rh!) even though our bathroom is a less than desireable size and decorating it will prove challenging, i'll find a way to make something work!
