embroidery :: in pictures

::as much as i enjoy drawing, posting pictures, updating the shop, and doing other creativ things on the computer i sometimes tire of watching this screen. though i want to be done with this machine for the day, first i want to post some things to share as my blog traffic has increased recently. i have been busy with needle and thread as usual and i get so thrilled everytime i complete a new project that i just can't wait to share it with everyone.

::i have a love for the traditional indian salwar tops. i picked up several in india when i was there and i miss wearing the entire ensemble as i did in india. so i took the existing tops i purchased and made a pattern for myself and started to make new tops. i honestly have to say that i don't wish to model too many things on here but please enjoy these pictures of the embroidery and applique i used to adorn my new fav top. i've been wearing it all day!!
